I will never forget my first trip to the Holy Land. As a solo traveler, I was a bit apprehensive. Exiting the taxi at the Damascus Gate, the ancient walls of the Old City stood as a timeless barricade, while the gates welcomed visitors to explore the mysteries and wonders that lay beyond.
Overwhelmed by the alluring fragrances of oils and spices, the bounty of fresh produce, and the unexpected surprise of hearing many of the world’s languages, I traversed the timeworn cobblestone streets in search of my hotel. The Old City was foreign, yet strangely familiar… like visiting the house you grew up in. My love affair with Israel had only just begun.
Each travel experience reveals yet another layer of history, more depth to the age-old stories I have read, and yet another beautfiful encounter with its amazing people and culture. My experiences at the Holy Sepulcher Church still resonate with my spirit. In stressful moments, I long to be back at the Dead Sea, allowing it to deeply nurture my body and soul. And other days, I crave warm Jerusalem hummus!
My heart’s desire is for you to visit the Holy Land to bring to life ancient stories and give you a new perspective on Israel, a land that needs no introduction. I want you to have a story that begins with “I will never forget my first trip to the Holy Land…”

Born and raised in Old City Jerusalem, it has long been my playground. As a child, I played hide-and-seek in the streets of the Old City, finding the best hiding places. While an adult, exploration and study of the Holy Land has cultivated an even deeper love and appreciation of this sacred place.
You will experience the thrill of standing upon some of the holiest places in Israel. Many landscapes have been unchanged by time and sailing on the Sea of Galilee like the Apostles will bring a fresh perspective to ancient stories. You will never forget the inspiration of the desert, the taste of your favorite food, and the new understanding that comes with walking in this holy place. Jerusalem, the Golden City, one of the greatest cities in the world, will give you context to the most sacred writings of the Old World. Your understanding will be forever changed.
It is easy to forget the significance of my homeland. However, every pilgrim traveler and each tour group reminds me of how sacred and life changing a Holy Land tour truly is. This is what I long to share with you.
